Tambo
K-9 Tambo - An 11 year old German Shepherd whose
dedication set the standard for heroism. For seven
years, he served as an Explosive Detection K-9 with
one of the East Coast’s busiest federal units,
completing over 10,000 searches and 500 calls,
protecting events from Presidential Inaugurations to
major league games.
After career-ending injuries, Project K-9 Hero
restored his health and gave him a new mission.
Today, Tambo inspires as an ambassador, raising
awareness, honoring fallen officers, and advocating
for America’s working dogs.
Jack
Throughout his career, Jack specialized in narcotics detection at both the airport and seaport, tirelessly searching cargo planes
and container ships. He genuinely loved going to work, and his consistent success in finding drugs earned him great respect within the working K9 community. After many years of dedicated service, Jack is now enjoying retirement, living a great life with his family!
Sieba
K9 Sieba has dedicated her entire life to keeping citizens safe from danger. With her tail wagging she has completed some of the most challenging and dangerous work in the entire agency. Along with her handler they have completed more than 100 demonstrations. These include Joe DiMaggio’s children’s hospital, boy scouts,
girl scouts, summer camps, schools etc. When Sieba has free time she loves to hang out and relax.
