K-9 Tambo - An 11 year old German Shepherd whose dedication set the standard for heroism. For seven years, he served as an Explosive Detection K-9 with one of the East Coast's busiest federal units, completing over 10,000 searches and 500 calls, protecting events from Presidential Inaugurations to major league games.
After career-ending injuries, Project K-9 Hero restored his health and gave him a new mission. Today, Tambo inspires as an ambassador, raising awareness, honoring fallen officers, and advocating for America's working dogs.
